Rust on tailgate - warranty claim

I've had this for a few years. I didn't think much of it because I was certain nothing would be done about it.

Can an aftermarket head unit with canbus adapter affect the one-touch windows?

Thanks. Unlikely as it seems removing the speakers did in fact solve the problem. You solved a 2 year old mystery :) I decided to reinstall the stock speakers, only to realize after removing everything related to the aftermarket stereo that I have thrown away the original door speakers. Now I...

Can an aftermarket head unit with canbus adapter affect the one-touch windows?

Yes I did. But they have new cables so that shouldnt be a problem. however, the installation may have damaged a cable in the a-pillar connectors. I'm currently troubleshooting that. I also think I need to check the UCH computer for fault codes, so that is my next step. The system is quite...

Can an aftermarket head unit with canbus adapter affect the one-touch windows?

Unfortunately, yes. At least 50 times :). Thanks anyway. I've had this problem for more than a year. I'm selling the car now and need to fix it. I would have thought the electronics in the door had failed if only one window had this problem. Since both failed at the same time I belive the...

Can an aftermarket head unit with canbus adapter affect the one-touch windows?

Since installing the new stereo the one-touch windows won't reset. I've tried everything. I'm sure they are not moisture affected, as I think they worked flawlessly before installing. Both sides act up the same and won't initialize. I've tried every procedure there is, including initializing...

Wiring diagrams for windows and heated seats?

I found out that the wiring diagrams are on a separate system called Renault Visu (Renault Visu-schema). It conists of bunchloads of CDs with information on select models and years. I managed to find a download link that worked on what turned out to be a Croatian forum. I hope this information...

Wiring diagrams for windows and heated seats?

I would be very grateful if someone with dialogys could print the wiring diagrams for the following: 1. The electrical windows and the UCH computer. 2. The wiring for the heated seats. 3. If possible, the fuses in the engine compartment "protection and switching unit" I tried to install...

Cheap place for clutch, release bearing and associated parts?

I did a few searches, but possibly didn't use the correct search terms. I seem to recall a lad selling genuine parts on here a year or so back. Is he gone? What other cheap options do I have? Parts will need to be exported. I have dealt with Ktec before, but I don't think it was particularly...

Time frame to change clutch and RMS?

Thanks. I have a garage and am confident I can get I done with my engine hoist. I need to decide whether to do it before I sell or not. I have the shocks and the front subframe off already. There is a puddle of oil on the floor from the RMS and the throw out bearing is a little noisy.

Time frame to change clutch and RMS?

How long does it take to do this DIY? I have most of the tools needed? Do you have to remove the shocks to remove the box?

Need a dust cover for the control arm ball joint? Managed to tear mine.

I'm hoping someone may help. I'm looking for a dust seal/rubber boot for the control arm ball joint. I tore mine when replacing the top mounts. The ball joint is in great condition, so no need to replace the arm . Has anyone got a bad control arm lying about that they could remove the boot...

Brake pedal goes too deep for comfortable heel and toe on track.

Yellow stuff was great. Easy to modulate and did not fade ad much as my damaged ds2500s. Heel an toe definitely helps a lot under heavy breaking. It means more engine breaking which keeps heat out of the engine and the brakes. It helps keep the revs up and allows me to keep better track of how...

Brake pedal goes too deep for comfortable heel and toe on track.

I run yellowstuff at the moment. Those are the ones I can run on the road as well. So does your pedal to do the same?

Brake pedal goes too deep for comfortable heel and toe on track.

What are your brakes like when braking hard after a longish straight? Does the pedal go past the throtlle making it awkward to HaT? I have found that as my pace has increased and the braking distances shortened it has become harder and harder to HaT as the pedal simply goes too deep when...
