Pretty good methods there guys. if you want to take the pre-wash further, spray on a diluted citrus APC and rinse off before snow foam stage. Just shifts a bit more grit making snow foam more effective. Citrus is a highly effective degreaser.

A good wax finish is only as good as the surface prep. Use a good cleansing polish first, either by hand or with a machine. Wax or sealant layer on top.

Snow foam is well worth the effort. Some say it is a waste of time, but the more dirt you can remove before a contact wash the better. This will massively reduce the risk of swirl marks. I've also thought its best to keep all that dirt and grit off the car. Good layers of wax, sealants etc will keep up the protection but a clean car has got to be a happy car! Frustrating though that as soon as you've finished, you know it will look filthy again a few miles down the road!

You willing to post up a photo so we can how bad it is. That way we might be able to suggest something before you hit the bodyshop!

It seems the small plastic cover that covers the door sensor behind the door handle has fallen off! Does anyone know the part number so I can get a new one?? Thanks

Just been quoted £350 to get this fixed! Of which there is 2 hours labour just to diagnose the problem! Does this sound right, surely it shouldn't take 2 hours to diagnose?

Looks like my Xenons are having a few issues! Turn them on and they adjust in the normal way, but then they just point to the sky! Thought they were a bit high on the way home, then a few people flashed me, just to confirm what I thought!

So there is anything we can do to stop the noise? It just sounds awful!

I had a leaking headlamp washer replaced and a new steering wheel. Bit worrying the amount of stuff some have had done. Mines out of warranty now!

Yup, I ordered off www.wiperblades.co.uk, very quick delivery. Of the two different ones they have for the Clio, I went for the cheaper Valeo ones. Very quiet and work well. I think the others are Bosch and about a fiver more.

Looks like it was just the cold belt. Last couple of days since we have had these warmer temps it seems better.

Hope its not the alternator, as the cars out of warranty!
