They are 100% xenons . They have the ballasts fitted. They came of another 197 that had xenons fitted from factory. They are the same as 172 no mods req to the loom just plug and play. You should have washer jets for a car with xenons fitted from factory.

I got round to swapping the headlights over at the weekend. Was actually not that bad. The loom didn't need any modification apart from swapping the headlight adjuster over from the halogen to the xenons. Makes the car look alot better front end in my opinion.

That brutal to clip back in. Bought them off fellow member on Facebook. Il see if I can sort the clip. Thanks

They have the adjusters just the ball part has came adrift and needs clipped back in.

Thanks for reply. That isn't my actual lights just a screenshot. The inside of the light has detached from the motor on the xenons I have so will just need to remove the motor and place it back on the ball holder and refit if its the same motor. The ones are purchased are def xenons they have...

I have recently purchased a set of xenon headlights for my 197 . I will be swapping them over this weekend. when removing the leveling adjuster is it a 1/4 of a turn to remove ? Not sure if the motors are different on both headlights. Circled pic below of motor. Any info appreciated. Thanks

My 2 front springs are knackered and was looking at eibach springs but now thinking about coilovers to freshen up the suspension. What is everyone's thoughts on these for the money ?? I am doing my first track day in the 197 in 3 weeks so would appreciate what opinions are. Thanks

Seen a lovely clio 200 storm grey on the m8 in Glasgow gave a wave. Very clean looking car. I was in the liquid yellow megane 275 trophy.

That sounds like a very nice car @Foxspeed . Any pics of the car ? Woukd you go back to a megane or you have another car in mind. I seen a 300 at the renault dealership in Motherwell it looked very nice, it looks quite a bit bigger in size.

Very nice @Foxspeed how do you find the new trophy 300 ? I was looking for a few year for the right megane. I couldn't push the boat out for a 300 as I still have the 2 clios on the road aswell as the megane. Couldn't believe the meg is cheaper to tax than both clios and looks better on fuel...

@Foxspeed yeah mate would be good if it came with xenon headlights. How did you find your trophy ? They go really well, quicker than I though it would be. Did you sell yours ?
