hey!!! its about time some local guys joined up here. i've seen a few 197s in ashford, a black one a two blues ones. I know a few of the cliosport members live in ashford and have been on a few meet with them, but it'd be good to have a fellow 197 along!

yeah could be, it didn't look as if it was under pressure. i.e not jet of steam from anywhere. I did come up with a thought tho, could it be condensation from the air con? if i had it on to clean the window quick for example. it hasn't done it since so i'll keep an eye out. its just that...

i would ask them to change it to what the book says. After all what would they say if you had not used a correct part/service item? invalidate the warranty of course!! also, what brand was the oil? as Renault recommend Elf. ;)

so, in theory, yo could ask them not to do that part of the service, thus saving a few pennies?

Red 197 southbound on M23 about midday, i was on a very boring work trip in the van, car looked lovely, stood out from the rest of the humdrum. :thumbup1:

i have this problem also, however i can stop mine mid sweep? how are you turning off your electrics? i press the starter once, no feet on the pedals, turn the wipers on then press the starter once again, works for me. But, has anyone noticed that whilst the passenger wiper can be lifted off...
