    Harness wash.. how to?

APC will not ruin them, this is the standard way to clean all safety belts without risk.

    Harness wash.. how to?

All purpose cleaner, a stiff bristled brush and a microfibre. Do not put them in the washing machine.

    Carbon Bonnet... re-laquer??

Most carbon items will be gelcoat rather than lacquer. Easiest option is to sand it down and paint body colour tbh.

That depends on what you think is wrong with the standard setup and what your budget is.

Perhaps it was over developed and they company won't take a hit, hence passing on the cost to customers? Who knows...

    Lightweight flywheel for 197

Must just be the way I'm reading your posts then fella. Without knowing how things are done how can you appreciate a good job compared with a bad one?

    Lightweight flywheel for 197

If you want to simplify things to their very basics and disregard the work someone has put into something, then yes it is true. I'd like to see what sort of job you could do lightneing a flywheel safely and correctly. It's not as easy as drilling some holes and removing some of the material...

Mike's modified airbox experiment - cold airtastic!

That's the beauty of prototypes; they don't have to be. Get the thing working first then worry about making it pretty ;) Agree with you on the carbon but I'm sure they have their reasons for using that material. I'd rather see it made from something else to bring the cost down and make it...

    Lightweight flywheel for 197

Laughable... A car is just 4 wheels and a shell by your logic.

Mike's modified airbox experiment - cold airtastic!

Bingo. Average joe certainly could NOT replicate that carbon intake/CAF and it's very disrespectful and naive of people to think otherwise IMO

    Longer wheel bolts

You should know about a subject before you post on the matter and 'bash' things with little or no reason. It's easy to hand machine a spacer to very tight tolerances if the operator is half decent. How do I know? I've done several sets and know plenty of machine shops who create bespoke...

    spacers

This, anything over 3mm requires longer bolts.

    Longer wheel bolts

Most aftermarket bolts sold on ebay or online are from one manufacturer so yes, for the most part they're the same.

    cup racer alloys

Can't say without knowing the offset of the new wheels. If the offset is the same the wheel will sit 1/4" further out of the arch than standards which is ~ET62. That's no where near you're current offset of ET43.

    new plate

The plate is C11 OFL I believe. I think it looks terrible when plates are mis spaced in an attempt to 'mean' something personally.

Mike's modified airbox experiment - cold airtastic!

Induction design is something I know a little about but there's more than one way to skin a cat and I wouldn't go calling their figures BS without allowing them a chance to respond to any criticisms. That said, the actual intake from the filter back looks very poor and goes against most...
