id say no, iv had coilovers on my mk1 gti was really stiff ride. if ur not going on track much id not change to it, another thing to think about is car makers spend millions on developing the car set up, and what works best.
1.the guy off grand designs, him that always puts everyones ideas down. wank!
2. the gay guy off of only way is essex, him that dose the cart wheels! nowt against gay people, just him.lol
3.all edit when i think of one
just been thinking, iv had my 197 for 2 years this month, longest i have ownd a car on the road, apart from my mk1 gti, which is in a million bits now.
just wondered who's owned there clio longest, and anyone had a s1 197 since new?
i saved a girl in a corsa from buying a new engine last week, i was at a mates house and walking down the garden to leave, i herd this realy loud, what i would say "chapping" noise coming from this girls car as she drove past, she stopped down the street, so i walked down and asked her if it...
Iv herd of one like this before with a old ford that would not run, mechanic made a bet with the guy after he asked him when he last serviced the car, "never" but the guy said no way it could be the oil, bet was made and right enough oil and filter later and the old girl ran like a dream.
okdoke, yeah i call his maps "google maps" a bit mickymouse lol
it was ment to be running like 340 bhp, better off with a pro live map, but no one seams to do them up our way i have been told.
cheers for the input.
a few weeks back i changed my manifold for a second hand one from jms tuning, with the precat deleted, now gives a little pop when engine is cold, been thinking of getting the second cat removed now. is there going to be any big down side? flat spot ect. recently one of my dumdass mates removed...
yeah go spend some moneys on filling the tank, and give it yeeha, see how they are then, mite be worth striping the breaks down tho, my inside pads were stuck in the caliper with only the outside pad doing the breaking... again ****ty dealer said it was my fault, even though only owning the car...
