Corner weighting - who's had it? & who would be interested?

I think it can vary car to car, if you have something with a heavy V6 up front it might make more difference. I would imagine the Clio is fairly well balanced to start off with so if the suspension height has been set to give a consistent arch gap side to side then it is probably as good as it...

    Engine movement

If your manifold has gone, just replace it with the Toyosport one, it costs £200 (or cheaper if they put them on an auction on eBay, I got mine for £130 posted) then fitting is around 4 hours for a garage to do it. I did mine at a mates work shop on a 4 poster ramp

    Engine movement

The dogbone mount is under the engine, towards the drivers side, from the engine onto the subframe. It tends to split on the smaller end, I think you will need to take it off to inspect it fully though. I put a Toyosport manifold on which is knocking against the subframe, I inspected the...

    Air/Fuel Ratio Graphs

Can people post up air/fuel ratio graphs of 197/200s on a standard map? I had mine done yesterday and want to check it is about normal.

    Engine movement

The dogbone mount is common to perish and split on these (as with many cars!), I bought a replacement off eBay today for about £20. The Powerflex are a good upgrade but you should start from good mounts in the first place

LY200 - too loud or blow up again, taking bets!

I got mine on a dyno yesterday for some power runs and AFR graphs, everything is in check and it made 191bhp on 95ron fuel, so I am happy with that.

Rear engine mount / torque link / dog bone

I need to replace my rear engine mount as the rubber is falling apart. Does anyone have the correct part number for it? Searching on the forum I have found 8200042454, but that suggests that the Megane 225/R26 is the same, but Renault Parts direct list the mount for the Megane as 8200777542...

LY200 - too loud or blow up again, taking bets!

Ahh, that has put my mind to rest a little! I am going to try and get some data logging done and get it on a dyno near me that can do AFR readings too just to be sure

LY200 - too loud or blow up again, taking bets!

I have just been flicking through this thread, top marks for doing this work! You must have got top marks in man maths!! I had a look on your website at the post about the piston damage. I have just fitted a Toyosport manifold to mine, do you think the manifold was the cause of it running...

Toyosports Stainless Steel 4-2-1 decat Manifold (pic heavy)

I fitted one of these manifolds yesterday, so far it is good! I am getting a knock in lower gears and while turning the wheel at low speeds, I don't get it when down changing though. I am changing the clamp between the manifold and cat as I don't think it is holding the join very well, then I...

Exhaust manifold to cat clamp size

I need to replace the clamp which holds the join between the exhaust manifold and cat, what is the correct size? Also is there any better versions available?

'13 reg 200T for sale here with the RS Monitor?

That leather is a very poor fit, I would be going back to the dealers as it shouldn't be in that condition after 13k

    Natural replacement for 197/200?

For me, the Clio is a stop gap. My next car will be a Cayman S, it is something I have wanted for a while now and unfortunately my finances weren't quite lined up when I was changing cars. I guess it is a little different for me than a lot of the people who have replied as my Clio is a standard...

Is it possible to have harnesses without removing the backseats?

You won't be able to use any harness while carrying passengers unless you have a 5dr car. You can however use a harness and also retain the standard seat belt for when you do need to take passengers. In regards to angles, it is generally accepted that going to the rear seat belt points is OK...

Is it possible to have harnesses without removing the backseats?

You can get kits from Schroth (I think it is them) that clip into the buckles in the rear. But usually you can fit them between the rear seat base and back without too many issues, then if you do need to use the rear seats you use the normal belt
