I would say roughly £200 upwards for the alloys in reasonable condition i.e. no gouges or major kerbing and straight / not buckled. Then whatever you think the tyres are worth, but remember the buyer may only want the rims so would not put much value on the tyres or vice versa.

FM is far better quality, but for use in most cars DAB is more than adequate and far greater choice.

With that budget you have lots of choice. Could probably get Dunlop dz03g or Toyo R88R for £600. If you want to spend less take a look at the Nankang AR-1 as they are about £100 and get good reviews from people who have tried lots of tyres. I might give them a go next
