    Lambda sensor issue

Check the plugs on the car loom (including the wiring). These can sometimes come loose from the fittings and drag over speed bumps etc causing damage to the wiring. The plug may also have corrosion due to water ingress - give it a clean and spray some contact cleaner/WD40. Have you got...

    200 missfire no codes

Got anybody close by who has known working coils and plugs? Swap the over... you said in your first post that unplugging 1&4 stalls quicker than unplugging 2&3... perhaps you've got a duff coil or faulty plug? Have you had it scanned by a proper scanner and had somebody who knows what they're...

    Exhaust heatshields

I haven't removed any of the heat shields but, curious for the future; If I wrapped the exhaust in heat-wrap and used heat-shielding tape (like the gold stuff you normally see over intake pipes etc) where the shielding was originally, would that be a suitable alternative? I've no care in the...

    200 missfire no codes

You 100% sure the plugs were genuine and the correct ones for the F4R engine? Coils and injectors, were they brand new and genuine renault? Same goes for Lambda sensors.... Cam sensor might be worth looking at. I think most people pull theirs out and clean them up with some success... Have...

    Alarm keeps going off

I'd start with checking for water ingress in your passenger footwell. That can sometimes cause the plugs to become corroded on the passenger side, somebody posted about it a few weeks back and this was the cause of their issues... If you find plugs, unplug them and check for corrosion - won't...

Is this bad? Bottom engine mount and subframe brace threads

Anybody know if these are these the same on the Megane 225? I have a similar issue that'll I'll be looking to repair in the coming weeks!

How to sign up for subscription?

Make sure you're logged in and the following link should get you to where you need to be; https://clio197.net/account/upgrades I would personally recommend Platinum @ £40.00. You'll save more than 10x that in the first year when you have access to all the 'How To' threads!

    Carbon door cards

Actually no, these are the ones i bought; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223486178884 and i got a set of these but it looks like they're not available anymore:

    Carbon door cards

I have these - front and rear set. They are actually really good but I rushed the install and should've put some 3M tape behind them so they don't touch the metal. If you have the powerflex engine and gearbox inserts and your car vibrates, these deffo cause a bit of a racket if there's any...

+ for this stuff! I grabbed 2 bottles, just about enough!

    Airbag light won’t go out

Clip or rstuner will do it. Anybody local with either will be able to sort you out. If you're ever near Bristol, I'll sort it for you

    Airbag light won’t go out

Whilst Turkie might be correct... I changed my standard front seats for VXR recaros and left all the plugs unplugged and untouched. I used RSTuner to disable all seat airbags (and other airbags that I had removed). Have you removed both driver and passenger seatbelts too? If so, this is your...

    Hard to select gears

I get the same thing - I think it's syncro issue but not 100% certain. Only from 2nd to 3rd for me... Which makes me think it's syncros as they are renowned for failing. Perhaps someone else may have a better explanation but ultimately, put up with it, replace the box or have your box refurbed...

Renault Clip from AliExpress - Recommendations?

Honestly the RSTuner is decent for a fair few things and is much more user-friendly... Granted it doesn't do nowhere near as much as CLIP but for diagnostics, remapping and EPS, ABS and airbag support, it's got pretty much everything you need. Depends on what OP wanted CLIP for I suppose?

Renault Clip from AliExpress - Recommendations?

I can't confirm but it does say in the description it runs CLIP v219 if that helps...

Renault Clip from AliExpress - Recommendations?

You should be fine with Windows 11 64bit - it still supports the WoW64 emulator so you can still run 32bit apps in 64bit Windows 10/11 O/S. No need to downgrade to a 32bit O/S. 32-bit also only support 4GB RAM, so you'll lose half your RAM capacity by downgrading. CLIP should be fine on Win 11 :)

Renault Clip from AliExpress - Recommendations?

I'd suggest Mac & Windows as a VM is probably the cause... Grab a cheap low-end laptop off ebay. IF you got a few pennies spare you would probably do well buying a MS Surface Pro 4/5 from ebay. They're fast enough and run Win10/Win11 and come in at around £100. Light, portable and decent to keep...

    Clio 197 water in footwell

A cheap option to fix it yourself and "do a proper job" - buy a new female & male plug (with pins) and just re-wire it yourself. Something like this would be suitable; Probably take you an hour at most and would be as close to factory. Above for illustration purposes, I'd personally look for...
