this just tells me you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. The ecu reverts the pedal input to throttle body opening, hence i said only a remap is a proper fix! Only thing the sprint booster does is let your ecu think you're giving it more than you actually do

the power won't really affect the synchro's, moreso the revs do which are lower with a Megane engine so basically they would hold out longer. Power wise i haven't seen anyone reporting they broke any of the gears so no problem there either. Cazan racing put 330lb/ft through the 197 clutch too so...

200 engines run a little bit leaner on top revs and also the cam overlap is different

I've had the full kit installed and it anoyed me too much. Removed the gearbox and upper powerflex bushes and now it's way better! Also set my idle to 900rpm which made it even better

Yeah full package mate, enginge, gearbox, clutch etc. engine only comes without anciliaries as i used them on my megane engine. i after €2000 so that would be about £1550. As i said that probably isn't very interesting as prices over there are way more attractive

You already bought the block etc hoping you could reuse the head? freakin unlucky mate! I do have a 37,5k miles engine for sale but it's in the Netherlands and i'm not sure if i can compete with uk prices. Didn't you buy a low mileage spare engine, or was it just the head?

The Honda engine has a mount front and back too, you might be able to utilise both

Emissions..... So yes, to completely get rid of it get it remapped! Healthcheck at Renault won't do a thing other than drain your pockets!
