    in the proccess of getting a engine built at the moment maxi pistons,rods,single piece valves,uprated springs, cat cam 403's, had vvt delete with vernier pulleys on my 172 engine and got very good results so will probably do the same on this will keep posted once it is done

    yes 172/182 have the head of the valve friction welded on to the stem, a common failure point, happend on my 172 rally car, and presume these are the same, so fiiting single piece valves to stop this happening

    wish it was, probably the week after which is a bit of a sickner, might be slight change of plan getting new engine built, high comp pistons, rods, cams, single piece valves, so might be good to wait until ingleston with quicker engine so cup race engine might be up for sale early new year

    front shocks fitted, aslo made the hole for the fuel pump bigger so that it can be removed without taking the tank out

    yes speedlines are 17" and ET51 probably sell the wheels and go for ET41 yes would love a R3 but just to expensive, must be great fun in the R3 some of the rallys we carry the jack and a spare wheel
