I'd start with deciding what power you want. Is it 270? If so no need for all the expense. Good cooling setup and you'll be fine.
Go and drive one first see if you could tell the difference between 270 and 300.
Use the money for other areas of the car IMO

It's hard to explain but turn the hinged part 90 degree so the open part it facing down.
Line up the straight bits and slide the hinged part over the lower part.
Dont try to push the lower part into the top part.

I have a spare flexi which bolts to the down pipe, I also have a spare down pipe that's wrapped in heatproof wrap.

Yeah that was one of the tricks for people installing remote start, back in the fast and furious days.
I think the 306 was the last good car that Peugeot made.

Bring back the pin idea from the old Peugeot 306.
Amazed it never took off, type a pin into the keypad to unlock the immobiliser.

My power flex dogbone mount causes bad vibration through the cabin. Really annoying as a daily.
If you have a new OEM mount then IMO I'd stick with that.

Yep that was the plan, front end all off and was about to pull driveshafts but thought maybe enough room to separate engine and just pull that.
Everything else is disconnected.
Cheers,

Hi all,
Ready to pull the engine to replace the one I blew up at oulton park.
Just driveshafts left to pull but i was wondering if it's possible to pull just the engine and leave the gearbox in, maybe unbolt the intermediate bearing and lift forward.
Is there enough clearance to move the engine...
Just done a compression test and looks like its engine rather than turbo.
85, 125, 60, 125
Coolant is a bit oily too.

Hi All,
My turbo failed yesterday at Oulton (apologies for the clouds of blue smoke for those who attended).
I have a spare engine and turbo to go in, question is, Has anyone just changed the turbo on these? what's access like?
I might just change the lot but prefer to just swap the turbo if I...
