    Removing Recaro seats

Yep get them turned off in clip. If you're handy with a pc and not completely idiotic I'd recommend getting a Clip unit from eBay. I've got one and I used it to turn off the extra light when going to Recaro's from Standard seats. You basically tell the car it doesn't have it fitted so no...

    Flat Spot

You can learn to drive around it. I'm only getting it mapped because why not lol. I still have the cats. If you remove them its even worse than mine apparently. I've got a non res scorpion system.

    Flat Spot

Yep. It's only small. It's like lag. The engine just strangles for a second and then all is normal.

Mine is really bad. It's only cruising around that you really notice it. If you're on it you're generally high enough in the rev range to avoid it. I'm going to get mine mapped next month I think to get rid of it.

    Welshname's Deep Black 197

Ah didn't realise you're local. On their site you can see the price for front toe adjustment which is all you have. Really friendly, I've been there 5/6 times now and took my mums civic there. Really recommended them. Just book on the phone and say you'll want to stay there whilst they do...

It's just shy of £50 Inc VAT as its just the front toe that can be adjusted. I had my wheels balanced too though so it was more this time. Regardless of what anyone says, the difference between standard laser alignment and hunter even just for the front is night and day different

Cheers. You pull the blanks out, get the holder and make sure the two pins on the inside of the prongs are removed. Push the holder in place (it's tight and fiddly to get in) then once it's flush push the retaining pins in.

Thanks, I'm really enjoying it at the minute. Got one of the RenaultSport gearknobs, one of the ones from Turkey. It's a crappy fit and I'm not impressed with it at all, it's been a nightmare to line up. Going to have another fiddle with it later as I didn't have much time on my lunch.

    Hi - Manchester 197 owner

Worth doing but then you'd need to fit a HID kit to get "xenons". Mine has the factory xenons with headlight washers and cornering lights

Possible move from Clio 172 to 200 - now having second thoughts...

I've recently made the move from a Monaco 172 which was mechanically brand new underneath to a 197. The 197 is better in every single way. Literally there is no downside unless you're MPG watching which again isn't that bad in all honesty, the people that can't keep an average around the mid...
