    New owners, few questions.

May sound daft, but took me about an hour to work out when I first picked up my Clio, have you made sure the cruise control switch is on, before using the steering wheel controls? (switch is between the steering wheel and the door, next to the traction control switch)

    Car pulling right

Will check again with my depth gauge tonight but wear looked pretty consistent when I checked before/over last 12K miles. Based on the alignment info if there was increased wear, I would expect to see it on the inside edge of the tyre? I know there's not much life left in the Conti 5's on...

I think Eibach are the closest to stock when comparing Eibach and H&R primarily due to the extra drop in height from the H&R's This thread might help - http://www.clio197.net/forum/showthread.php?28905-The-Definitive-What-Suspension-Do-You-Have-Thread

    Tyres time ! Recommendations

Michelin Pilot Sport Cups are all the rage these days aren't they? Not sure if they're an out and out track tyre though? Or designed for "all round conditions"? - pretty sure have to got to 225's though as last I checked they didn't seem to do a 215 if you're not so fussy about wet grip maybe...

    The new megane RS

It says GT on the front... are you sure it's not just modified? Bonnet pins, team dynamics, grooved discs and brembos

    Car pulling right

I assume they just get it within tolerances and call it job done. It wasn't any sort of specialist, just a general tyre garage that offered alignment. I guess "outstanding" would be all black lines directly in the middle of the green bar but I wasn't paying for a flawless set up, just general...

    Car pulling right

Just had my wheel alignment done after clutch change - steering wheel was a little off centre after subframe off and new tie rod ends. These were the results - they don't look outstanding, but everything seems to be within limits and car feels fine :)

Noise that goes when clutch is pressed.

You can have a quick read through my thread here - http://www.clio197.net/forum/showthread.php?53068-New-noise-developed-under-the-bonnet&highlight= It was the slave cylinder bearing which is now resolved with new clutch + slave. £192 parts (discounted clutch kit from RenaultPartsDirect) £250...

    Interior bulbs / LED's ?

Haha they're nice and easy to fit :) if at first they dont seem to work, rotate the bulb 180 degree's and try again. If that still doesn't work, try just bending the metal pins out very slightly so ensure a connection. It's a fantastic improvement all round once they're done, cant stand yellow...

    Interior bulbs / LED's ?

I bought mine from Parts U Like on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Sport-Clio-197-200-LED-interior-side-lighting-kit-SMD-PURE-WHITE-/321211290594?hash=item4ac9af53e2:g:-q4AAOSw0e9Ux9wj There are cheaper options though - I just saw others had recommended these so grabbed the same...

    Interior bulbs / LED's ?

T10 501 5w5 Push Wedge Bulbs - these are used for all interior lights apart from glove box, and are also used for number plate and sidelights Think they're generically known as 501's, not sure what the T10 or 5w5 bit means, but that's what mine were labelled up as

Clio 200 FF with Cup Pack

@Pav - just been reading this on their website - sounds like a great option if you dont live a million miles away - effectively pre-order what you want, turn up and they install the new wheel and take yours in exchange. "EXCHANGE + FITTING – we re-trim the same type steering wheel to your...

New noise developed under the bonnet ...

Nothing at all. The only thing I did notice was the clutch that came out is branded with LUK - not sure if this is an OEM part (I know Euro Car Parts sell them)? It could potentially of had a clutch replacement in the past? Would seem likely paperwork would be present if something big was done...

New noise developed under the bonnet ...

Clutch change is complete. First impressions are great! Clutch pedal is much lighter than it was before making the car much easier to drive (it was pretty heavy before). Gear changes much smoother as the clutch engages (disengages?). And the dreaded squeal that started this whole thing is gone...

Gearbox dogbone mount - has the part changed?

I think you're getting mixed up with the mounts. Very top of the engine bay is the "Torque Arm/Upper engine mount" - http://www.k-tecracing.com/images/products/66-822fittedtoarmweb_f.jpg Just below that (in Powerflex terms) is the "upper engine mount/insert"...

Gearbox dogbone mount - has the part changed?

There's no reason to replace the whole mount if you're getting Powerflex insert. The Powerflex insert replaces the worn/damaged rubber surrounding the metal triangle shaped bit. As for vibration, I can't really comment accurately as I already had the upper torque mount installed before fitting...
