Quite right mate, if you're chasing ponies you bought the wrong car! Definitely feels great now. Even though the main reason for doing this was to iron out the flat spot (which was horrendous), it comes alive above 4k, more than before! But the whole delivery is smoother which feels great.

Yeah I think the numbers are to be taken with a pinch of salt but that's not what it was about for me. You can see the abomination of fuelling below 3k before and it's all smoothed out now. It drives so well now. I don't care what the power figure says on the sheet but it is a gain and it's how...

Flywheel not wheel power. Not sure what to expect but I was more interested in the smoothness lower down

Happy with that! Now for the drive home. Not sure what those figures equate to at the wheels

So do I mate! Just wandering around looking at the cars here and I can hear mine on the dyno! Can't wait to go and see it. Photos and videos to follow hopefully

Arrived at K-tec just waiting for the re-map, fitted this to keep those grubby mits off my nice alcantara wheel! There's some proper cars here though. R26R and a supercharged R27 in the showroom

    My Albi is dead :(

Sorry to hear this mate, absolutely gutted for you. I suppose the important thing is you're ok but still so sad to see the car that way! Just do what you've got to do and hopefully you'll be back in another one soon enough

Haha no I meant quiet on here! I hope they do feel good, I did the rest of the brakes on Saturday but ran into a problem with the faulty rear wheel bearing and didn't want to bed the nice new pads on the old rusty disc so I haven't driven it since! New disc on tonight then test drive! As for the...

Been a bit quiet recently but I have replaced all the discs and pads (all but one because the bearing wasn't seated correctly in the new disc, new one arrived today). I've gone for Brembo HC front discs and genuine Renault rears because of the wheel bearings, Ferodo DS2500 pads all round. Also...

Yes it's awful. Standard manifold with cat, milltek decat and milltek cat back. I bought the car with just the cat back and it was just as bad. Ktec have assured me they'll cure it but I wonder if it is worse than it should be? I've learned to drive around it but when I spoke to a couple of...

A little fly by compilation from this evening. First time I'd heard the car go past with someone else driving! Sounds way better in person but nice to get a video. I hope to do more once it's been mapped as you can hear the flat spot when the car pulled away in the video

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Personally I think it starts slow enough. Just don't push too hard or hold it on one place for too long until you're more confident with it. Try and stay away from the edge of the panels, door handles and plastic trim like the mirror bases. The bumpers and wings will burn quicker being plastic...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281095608814 This is the one I've been using. They've come down loads over the years though. I know there's better, more expensive ones but I'm quite happy with this one, it's what I started on and I'm still using it now. Yes I've got a valeting & detailing...

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

A soft start is good because it doesn't kick too much and it won't flick compound everywhere, the sealey ones have a wheel to adjust speed so you can just start slow and speed up, don't want to go too fast though. We use the sealey ones professionally and they tend to last about a year until the...

Yeah I was working til about 5 so didn't start til after that! Amazing what a difference plugs can make. I was surprised even tightening them up had helped

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

You could spend hundreds but to be honest you can get a sealey one for under £100 that will do the job just fine. Variable speed, get a thicker foam backing plate, a firm head and a soft waffle head, some 3m fast cut plus and 3m ultrafina and that's all you'll need mate

Here's one for you OCD nuts out there. It was worth a photo All exhaust joins now sealed and rear boxes adjusted. I'd have liked to get the left hand tip a bit lower but there wasn't really an easy way of doing it so I adjusted the right hand box to get the tip higher to match the other. Not...

Yeah the blokes a bit of a bellend anyway, hats off to what he does to Audi rs6s and the like but didn't like his attitude. I'd say this is probably the most fun car I've owned, not the quickest but probably the most fun.
