    When ever I've raced fwd cars it's been of little use. If anything I'd rather use the additional engine breaking to assist the brakes. Personal preference I guess!

    Not needed on these cars really is it. Even on track it's a waste of time on a well setup car. 300 bhp RWD in the rain is when it's more appropriate!

    Does look like they are potentially the best option peter, or perhaps ATS DTC if the offset goes high enough. Anything will be lighter than the 17 X 8 Speedlines I'm currently running!

    Anyone got one of these fitted to a 197/200? Looks a good quality exhaust, and price is good too. Do they still suffer from the usual flat spot, and what are they like noise wise at motorway speeds? Cheers!

    Cheers for that! Very interesting info. How do you find yours? So you have the short 123 from the 200 box, and short 56 from the early 197 box. Which looks ideal to me, it's the closest gearset possible. I thought the Gripper final drive was 5.1 though? Do you have the Gripper LSD also? Yeah...

    I'm looking at building a new gearbox for my track/hillclimb 200, where can the imformation be found about different combinations of gear sets and final drives? I know some people on here have built custom boxes up, and Gripper do a different final drive. Can you mix and match any 6 speed TL4...

    Can't say I've ever got black hands from any of mine?! Well worth doing, wouldn't make it removable u less you use a really good weld on item, as the cheap ones give to much movement. Here's mine which I fitted a few weeks back:
