Wheel arch film protection for 200 ? Where can I get some

I made my own for a fraction of the price you would pay for a kit (if they made one). All you need is plain paper, masking tape, scissors, a sharp modelling knife and wooden board oh and of course a roll of stone guard film. I made templates using A4 size sheets, once you are satisfied with...

Recommendation for main dealer service - Yorkshire

Sounds good. I've just been looking on the Renault dealer network page and there aren't many that aren't tied into the big groups. I've found one at Grimsby that appears to be a smaller one - Humberside Renault. I'm not in a rush anyway.

Recommendation for main dealer service - Yorkshire

Cheers GT. I've not heard of the Doncaster place before. I will have a look at that. Rightly or wrongly I have little confidence in the "group" main dealers. I'm not totally precious about having a full renault history as I think if and when I came to sell the car would sell itself.

Recommendation for main dealer service - Yorkshire

I used to use Brian Leighton at Goole until sadly they shut their doors. I'm reluctant to go to the goons at Evans Halshaw locally so looking for any recommendations

    Removing Cup spoiler - Options....

You will regret taking it off and once you've drilled the tailgate to fit the sprint spoiler there's no going back without a lot of work.

    numberplate rules

To be lawful the plate has to have BSau145a stamped in it to indicate it conforms. Smaller "show" plates won't have that. The font size has to be 79mm with an upper and lower margin of at least 11mm.

    200T: Damage at dealers

It's only where the pads on the 4 point lift have been. Stop looking underneath and get in the driving seat.

    200: Well.. I almost died.

If you brake mid corner all that happens is the weight is transferred to the front and the rear end lightens, if you are cornering this just causes the rear to rotate and you disappear into the scenery, if there happens to be a tree there it usually brings the car to a stop with life changing...

    200: Well.. I almost died.

The link doesn't work but the only way the wheels will lock is if you are pressing the middle pedal! Get your speed off before the bend not half way round it, the worst thing you can do in a FWD car is lift off or brake mid corner (unless you are on a track and want to induce oversteer !)...

I've given the Alien a run today

Thanks Yiannis, We have a number of cars between us at home. I keep the Clio under a cover at the back of the garage so isn't generally the easiest to get out, with the weather being generally nice this year I've been using the Elise when we have had a run on decent roads. Also wife has bought...

Tried vinyl wrapping, see pics. Any advice?

Crikey!!!! Did you use a heat gun or apply it cold. The quality of the wrap is also key. If it's cheap you will end up with a poor job. If you are not competent at these sort of things it's cheaper in long run to get it done professionally. My mate does it as his job every day and even he admits...

is there any possible way to retro fit cornering light function

No one has ever done it or if they have they have never told us! As I recall you need the steering rack with the sensors which fire up the corner lamps. Probably easier to upgrade the car to a 200 with them fitted standard
