    Megane discs

If road only then I'd go with Brembo HC and maybe DS2500, if going on track then I'd use pagid rs29 pads. If mainly track then I'd go AP 2 piece or 330mm Godspeed race disk 2 piece (curved internal vane) or get a set of Brembo HC grooved and pagid rs29s

    Megane discs

Agreed - you will always find bad news if you search for it I find the MLR and FRSOC are always good places to start reading as they have large followings

    Megane discs

I remember a lot of complaints about Godspeeds customer service (or lack of it) many years ago, the above link is to info that is 13 years old. The only experience we have with them is one set of disks and bells which we found to outlast the previous Reylands. As I said we would use them again...

    Megane discs

The corrosion on those looks no different to the standard disks we took off. They do look as if they havnt been used regularly. I'm no metallurgist but I thought the better the quality material used in the casting meant it corroded more quickly, maybe someone can clarify. As for warped disks in...

    Megane discs

We went grooved on the Godspeed With the reyland it just looked as if the centre of the disk couldn't get rid of the heat. Chris sent the info to Martin as they hadn't done much work and we didn't get a positive outcome hence the godspeeds

    Megane discs

To ensure maximum heat dissipation from the disk ensure they have curved internal vanes, the reyland set we killed were straight vane, the Godspeed were curved ! The reyland we had were J hook which created some strange noises there was also a groove around the centre of the disk where the j...

If it were me and theres any doubt about the slave you've fitted I'd be taking it out again It will let you down at the worst possible moment !! Did you see the post of the TRW item earlier this week - alloy body and metal pipe.

TRW Slave cylinder - robust design

It certainly looks more substantial I'm sure I've seen something similar in an LUK clutch kit cant remember if it was a alloy housing but it had a metal pipe rather than the plastic on the gen' item

Albi Blue 200 >> BMW E46 Track Car

We had a similar issue with a brand new cylinder, it leaked at the join at the bottom of the straight plastic tube where the clip is. We never lost the clutch but went through plenty of fluid. I'm sure I've seen an LUK slave cylinder with a one piece metal tube, it also had a retaining bush...

    Gearbox or clutch?

I tend to bleed the clutch from underneath, just take the under tray off and reach up !! I also found that with an easibleed connected getting the connector back on was an issue therefore we now do it by manual pumping (down, up, down, up etc etc) and push the connector back on when down...

Looking to buy KW V3. Best price?

KW's are twin tube, Clubsports come with adjustable top mounts, rear damper isn't a coilover AST's are monotube and coilover front and rear Unless you understand suspension / setting up I would stick with a single adjustment (or non) rather than bump and rebound (too many variables when you...
