    https://clio197.net/threads/ebay-oem-gearstick-extender-knob.65845/ All credit goes to @LiamP for doing the footwork. He mentions it's an M12 washer so go with that!

    IIRC on top of the spring for the reverse collar. It's either an M10 or M12 but I can't remember offhand.

    Really enjoyed bullying this Megane all day. He was quick in a straight line but anyone can go quick in a straight line...

    Not sure if I'm honest. More than I expected but less than I'd like. I think that sums it up :tearsofjoy:

    Blyton Park today. The forecast was for rain and we got plenty of that, it seems every time I go to Blyton it absolutely tanks it down and today was no exception! Photos from the TDO aren't up yet but my mate stood on the mound and got very wet, he kindly took some photos on his phone whilst...

    Value for money, the Yellowspeeds have been decent, I've changed bits on them but not always for better results, I'm actually toying with putting them back to standard because the car was more predictable then. However I'd you could afford the extra I'd go with the tried and tested GAZ Golds...

    Home Garage Ideas

    Get some storage up higher if you don't want to lose floorspace, I borrowed my mates garage to do a few bits on mine yesterday and having the cabinets up high helps a lot. I think he's going to be putting lighting underneath too.

    Mk3 isn't threaded as far as I remember. I bought one of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284955814205 then I bought a black version of this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402541552962 Then you can fit whatever m12x1.25 knob you'd like. Been in the car for over 2 years now so it's been a sturdy...

    GW 200 CUP (clubsport->racecar->v2)

    Keep it and push the power to weight limits of class B, maybe do some of the enduro stuff too? Either Roadsports at 45 minutes or the Enduro and maybe share the car with someone to lower the running cost.

    Great success! Drove the car down to ED this morning as it's actually road legal now, had a chat with Andy about the changes to the car and wanting to make sure the engine is healthy etc... Explained it felt really strong and I had a feeling it would at least make more torque. Andy said he'd do...

    Small updates. First up, I've been bullied by @RSRowe in booking Oulton Park in December. (And by 'bullied' I mean he sent me a message saying "Fancy a Christmas trackday?". That's basically bullying.) Circuit Days - 6th Dec Secondly. The car was miserable on the road and the front end was a...

    I wasn't sold when he bought them but they're slowly growing on me. Any other colour car and they'd look shite I reckon. He got a bargain with those though, they're 8j Cup Racers and the AR-1s were practically new, they still had the little mould nubbins on. Some pictures from Snetterton. As...

    It survived! Had a few minor jobs to do during the day, had a bit of a temperature spike on the first hot lap so dived into the pits and bled that off (airlock in the system, I knew there was one as it was a pain in the arse to bleed the other day). The clutch bite point is a bit low so bled...

    Crank sensor connector

    @c.h 90 If you get really stuck give me a shout, I've got a loom off a later F4R 832 engine which has a few slightly different connectors from my 197 loom. Previous owner hacked the loom when he did a Meg swap so it's no good to me. I can try to see if I have a matching plug on it for you tomorrow.

    CLIO 197 CUP - Project TF

    Sounds like it's something other than having stuff unplugged. Mine was on after an engine change and went out by the time I'd moved the car to the end of the driveway. I'd suggest maybe the wheel speed/abs sensor has been pulled a bit and may have damaged wires. However if you've changed loads...

    Road test complete. Other than the usual odd smells from greasy handprints and spilt fluids burning off, I can safely say it was a success! Roll on Thursday!
