Hey guys,
To me this is a funny one.
Recently my Clio 200 has developed an issue. When revving out to the red line it will suddenly hit a wall at about 6500ish rpm. The rpm needle will shoot down towards zero and backup. It’s happened a few times now. If I change gear and apply throttle again...
I’m looks for more info on this bit of kit.
Seems like a perfect mod for the Clio.
Any owners have an honest opinion about it. How does it compare to CAE or ZPO cable driven systems?
Is the throw length much different.
Any major downsides?
Cheers

Ya I’ll just remove them all together. I like the wheels too much to get rid of them.
Thanks guys.
I might try a smaller spacer like a 10mm or less in the future.
Coincidentally I have 4 20mm H&R spacers with correct 45mm TPI bolts for sale if anyone is interested [emoji23]

How much chamber are you running?
Don’t the cup racers have a wider front track? Do they get passed this by also running tonnes of chamber.
Could I leave the spacers on the rear and have non on the front or will that cause some funky handling?

Ya picture is crap, rain started and I was loosing interest.
It’s a shame as it looks spot on.
So are my options to go back to the standard cup wheels, 7.5j aren’t they?
Or chamber plates?

Hi guys
Just bought 20mm H&R spacers front and rear for my Clio 200 cup.
The driver side front is rubbing over bumps quite a lot.
The car is riding on cup racer speedlines 8j wheels wrapped in 225/45 r17 and 30mm H&R lowering springs (I think).
I had asked around and it seemed I shouldn’t have...
So I was cleaning the scuttle drains on my pride and joy. While I was at it I noticed what looked like a little crack on the strut tower. (At the 11 o clock position)
I checked the other side and it seems to be almost all the way around.
[emoji24] has anyone else come across this?

I was thinking these could be worth the chance. Seem to get very good reviews and won’t empty the wallet

For that price they’d want to be the best damn LEDs in the business! They don’t seem to need a ballast unit either.
I assume they are not MOT compliant

Has any one fitted LED headlight bulbs? I’ve a 200 ff but would like a bit more light at nighttime. Not that keen on HIDs.
Does anyone know do you need domed headlight caps to fit the LEDs?

Seems there is a slight creak or movement coming from the from right hand side of the seat bass. Can any one tell me how to remove this panel in the picture as it seems to be happening behind it.

If you look at all modern LMP1 and 2 in racing you’ll see big openings on the top of each wheel arch. This is to allow the escape of positive pressure from the wheel arch. This regulation was a reaction to the 1998 le Man 24hr when two Mercedes CLRs did huge summersaults due to a build up of...
So I had a look under the bonnet today and found that one of the aircon hoses was not clipped on properly and was catching the linkage.
Problem solved.
