Massive performance gains on these things are impossible mate, so forget it. Problem with fixing the stock manifold is it is a short(ish) term solution, you'll have the same problem down the road because you're not fixing the inherent weaknesses of the manifold, you still have the same flexis...

@Doogle Both the K-tec and the Toyo are catless so they both need a remap, only the stock one doesn't. @Benno sure thing, will put something up after it's fitted.

@HyperSquiZ You'll need a manifold gasket as well and the job will take 4+ hours so make sure your wallet is full! @Antti O paid around 8000 SEK give or take a hundred, thing ain't cheap :chris2:

Have the same problem myself. I ordered the K-tec manifold and will be leaving the car to the local mechanic to fit it next week. The Toyo is cheap but from what I could gather it doesn't fit as good as the original or the K-tec so you have to reduce vibrations to avoid it hitting the subframe...

A big mess that bracket situation. I don't have the money for this yet nor have I definitely decided to go ahead with it, I was just asking out of curiosity. But I hope it works out for you! You don't plan on selling the bracket as a standalone item?

Did you get that information from RST themselves? Like @DS197 and @Sean197 wrote, it shouldn't be a big problem sourcing a bracket elsewhere so I don't buy that TBH. Must be something else. Also, K-tec doesn't offer a SC-kit for the 197 either as far as I can tell.

Anyone knows what happened with this one? Cant't see it being offered on the RST website. Did they scrap it?

Ok, should be fine then. Thank you. Didn't know the standard one was also a 200 cell unit. So basically replacing the stock one, if it's working fine, with a "sports" cat is meaningless, the airflow through it would be the same as the stock one?

So one of my cats is done and the garage thinks it's probably the pre-cat but it may be both. So I was thinking of replacing them both, to be sure. I have already ordered a KTR sports cat and was thinking of ordering a Toyosport exhaust manifold but now I wonder if having no pre-cat and only...

Try it, we might have the same issue. I also noticed higher fuel consumption lately, like 10% higher. Have you noticed this as well?

If you hit the cat from below, do you hear anything loose inside? Mine sounds strange at 2600-2800 too and according to the place I usually leave my car at, the cat needs changing. May be the same issue.

Can anyone recommend a racing seat that can be used both with regular seat belts and harnesses? I'm basically looking for seats that will save me some weight, give me better support on the track but still be usable on the street with the regular seat belts. Anyone knows of such a seat?

@M19TNR If you have to add the Cup pack to the Megane some would say that you have to add adaptive dampers to the Golf. Here in Sweden the base Golf costs 374000 sek and the non-cup Megane will cost 299000 sek, so 25ish percent difference. The Type R costs 340000 sek and the Ford is 394000. The...
