    Fitting Cup Dampers/H&R's yourself

Yes, but I just took mine to a tyre place with a posh aligner, only very minimal adjustments were needed, £40 done.

    Fitting Cup Dampers/H&R's yourself

My suspension was swapped in a very basic garage, it isn't especially tricky.

    Cup Steering Rack on FF200

Thats why I did it, maybe driving two different cars back to back makes it obvious, but driving my car, then driving something else for a week or so, then driving my car with the Cup rack did not really highlight any differences. The technicians did confirm that it was definitely a shorter rack...

    Cup Steering Rack on FF200

I fitted one (200 Cup Rack) to my 197, not a fun job, did it at the same time as some work on the manifold. I got one used, though they aren't that expensive new and come with new track rods and track rod ends. The difference wasn't really noticeable to be honest.

    Drivers door has dropped :-/

Hardly a 5 min job as no access to the rellevant fixings without removing the wing. I was referencing the Ren instructions for alignment. I don't believe there is much if any adjustment in the door mounted hinges, just where they mount to the body. Certainly when I did it I had to largely remove...

    Drivers door has dropped :-/

Arch liners out, front bumper off, front wing off (at least at the front, bottom and sides) this reveals the bolts. Make sure you have someone to help. It is a bitch of a job.

    Gearbox crunch

Fuchs Titan Sintofluid seems to be well recognised, but to be honest if you are having a crunch then it is unlikely to make much if any difference.

    Thoughts on this 200

Seems like a step down from an S2000 to a Clio, did you track the Honda?

    E46 M3....Yeh or Neh?

It's a car I would certainly consider, as said though expensive to run in terms of juice, tyres, etc. and the ever present threat of the VANOS having an expensive paddy. Not sure what these are like for body rot?

Check your lower arm link bar(s) and Dog bone mount....

I think worn dog bones (which on these don't really look like dog bones) are also the cause of many of the manifold failures.

    Clubsports . . . Needed or what ?

Waits for the "No, you don't need them, I wish I hadn't spend £1k on mine" type reply...

    My Day At Cadwell Park

Yeah, thats my friend Rob in the blue one behind you. He reckoned it was a great day, though he had some tyre pressure issues. Your Abarth looks v. smart! How did your brakes hold up? I know from past experience that the Clio on sticky rubber is just so easy to chuck around Cadwell, really...

    My Day At Cadwell Park

I loved Cadwell in my Clio. Friend of mine was there yesterday in a multi-coloured Punto, did you see him?

how mutch work to change the manifolder pipe?

Ideally on a lift, I seem to recall someone did do a change in their drive though.

197: Just a little bit of honesty...

Based on my experience I wouldn't worry too much about mileage, if maintained properly; the failures I suffered seemed common for the age, and didn't appear premature as a consequence of high mileage.

how mutch work to change the manifolder pipe?

About 5 hrs labour, awful job, subframe needs to be lowered.

197: Just a little bit of honesty...

I took less than £5k for mine (0656, 96k, FSH, mint) when I sold it at the beginning of the year, and values haven't exactly increased. £5k should get you a 2006 with sub 80k, some extras and the belt change done. Stick it out, you will find a good one. But be prepared for expensive component...
