Play in Steering Wheel - (Failed MOT)

there is a guide on how to remove the steering wheel, but you have to be a paid member. £5 a year is good value though http://www.clio197.net/threads/how-to-remove-steering-wheel.47613/

Your previous cars and their mods!

My first car was a Rover 25 Olympic edition. It cost me £500 and just shy of £3k to insure in 2011. Strapped a cone filter straight on to the engine block because a mate said it would add at least 100bhp (in reality it was more like 50 ;) ) Kept the car for about 18 months, then upgraded to a...

Custom Drivers foot-rests.........anyone interested in one ?

Are you supplying the fixing material (Velcro etc) or just the plate? Even if it is just the plate it is still a great price Another vote here for 1b by the way!

    Emergency shock absorber help please!

There are 2 different top mounts. Larger top mounts, which are pre 2010. And smaller top mounts which are post 2010. The 2 different mounts take different springs. Some of the earlier 200s actually use the 197 springs, so depending on the year of the 200 that you go the new springs from will...

    Car insurance

Personally i would go with the cheaper one as i don't drive any other car apart from the other halfs car (which i am a named driver on anyway) It all depends if you can see yourself driving someone else's car in the next 12 months - an extra £80 isn't too bad

Is your Clio your daily ride ?

    Broken headrest

Sorry if this has been covered before, but my drivers seat head rest is broken. So I have had my car for nearly two years now, and I have only just realised that my head rest will not move up or down. The button that you have to press goes in but the actual head rest wont budge at all - almost...

Is there a right and wrong way to sit on a long journey

lean back as far as possible, then if you get tired you can stick cruise control on and get a passenger to steer while you take a 5 minute power nap. On a serious note, whatever you feel the most comfortable with. Im in the middle of being bolt upright and leaning back

    Company car

as said before, it depends what your firm class reasonable as, and whether they are going to purchase or lease the car. Where I work, we get all our cars on a 24 month lease agreement. They are all Mercs/BMW/Audi etc. one of our managers has a Audi Q7, but then again, his salary is over £100k a...
