Well found out the problem with the noise from rear tonight!!! think I need a new backplate. falling to bits! will do both sides at same time.

It is a short track, I haven't experienced Duffus dip going down as the track day I was on was reverse! been a passenger countless times going down Duffus tho in very fast cars and I would imagine it would take a bit of getting used too.

I have only ever driven knockhill but loved it. twisty track. 1st track day was 2 weeks ago in my 172 cup track car. will take the 197 on when a bit more experience . been a passenger at croft ( what a fast track that is) it's a brilliant track.

Yeah 100% not the pads m8 with caliper /carrier and pads all removed the noise is there with just the disc getting rotated!

I checked for play m8 and there is none also it's not rough on rotation! it's more like as though something metal is contacting another metal surface when the wheel is in rotation. il get it off on Tuesday and let you know what the problem is. thanks

Hi all I have a high pitch squeal coming from the rear hub area it's in behind disc /hub as I have stripped the pads/caliper off but don't have the correct hub nut at home! 34mm or 36 mm nut I think ( I will get one out work tomorrow ) anyone ever had this ? thanks

Hi m8, yea It is that cable it has snapped! Il just make something up in work for that price lol! I need to get my 2 kids in and out the back of the car so has been used to death! Lmao. Thanks turkie172

Anyone know the best place to get a recaro cable for sliding the seat forward and back as mine has snapped passenger side. Thanks

56 plate clio 197 on 82,967 miles got it at 46,834 January 16th 2012. It got new pads and discs all round and 2 budget tyre on rear , 1 stabiliser drop link arm and full timing belt kit , 2 weeks later got a brand new exhaust manifold fitted as part of 2 months warranty . 1 half year later...

My wife wee cousin had a bump 3 weeks ago and no was injured! She contacted the police and they were not interested because no one was injured! They did not even turn up so I think even if you want the police there or a report it is not the case from the other side! Especially if no one is injured.

They don't get mentioned that often but I bought cooksport springs of a member on here and I think they are great springs. The car sits just right with them.

Thanks ks montana I have seen a genuine set on ebay with pads discs rear wheel bearings for £97 a really good price. My m8 said the non renault bearings are chocolate they go after a couple of month!
