I have had issues with mine. I found the right side track is the problem, I tried cleaning it up and it is a little better now. Once dirt gets into the bearings it is very difficult to remove it due to the design of how the tracks are put together.

You can get OEM looking aftermarket headunits, Becker make some. They make units with USB, bluetooth, etc

The upper and lower torque link inserts sorted the knock out for me, no need to do any bending, heating or grinding. Did you reconnect the lambda sensor? Do you have a the main cat still in place?
