Hi all - I did Snetterton yesterday and the PS4 did great. I ran 30F/31R cold and they were at 35psi once I was back in the pitlane... not sure how much PSI is lost in a few minutes of cooling down and parking up? Anyway, I never noticed and real drop off in performance, however after my 4th...

I've read 36 hot a few times, but never actually seen it officially written down. I trawled the Michelin website and couldn't find anything specific.

Ah okay... strange then! Well Chris didn't seem in the slightest bit concerned by the small knock, which to be fair it very rarely does, only in certain occasions when maneuvering at low speeds. Perhaps he said / meant the electric motor that was making the noise. He said virtually every Clio...

@RSRowe Cheers - that's exactly what I wanted to know. I will bare in mind not pushing on with them too much. Do you just start at recommended road pressures (34 front / 31 rear) and then just chase the pressures down after coming into the pits, or do you start a bit lower?

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but would appreciate some advice for those of you that have run PS4 on track. What kind of stint do you think the PS4 can handle, if trying to preserve its lifespan (i.e. not kill them a few track days)? At Snetterton, would it be sensible to do, say, 2 warm...

Update. Been fairly busy with the car over the last few weeks: Completed a service (engine oil, gearbox oil, spark plugs, cabin filter). All went well, took my time (probably about 6 hours in total haha), but was satisfying to do it myself using all the correct parts, oils, everything torqued...

@Big Ben would you say the PS4 would be good enough for a first timer on track? Thinking maybe I should replace the tyres (some ageing Pirelli Cinturato P7) on my current Speedlines with PS4's... use them for both daily and first few track days, and then once I get more into it purchase some...

@Beany What about 40 minutes each way? Even then would you drive and then swap? That's about my distance from Snetterton.
