You need large balljoint splitters. You could spend all day whacking them, just damaging expensive parts. Take yourself down to machine mart and get the tools Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Outer hub has to come off, drive shaft also needs to be out of the way as you need a decent balljoint splitter to split the upper ball joint. I'm not sure how easy it is with standard suspension, as there's a lot more droop, but ideally it's probably easier to remove the entire hub and split...

I would have but it wasn't actually the dash causing the problem, you may have seen before it was chopped back, the metallic grey part under the windscreen was reflecting up onto the window. Haha, it doesn't fit a RHD with standard clocks!
