Also did a 2 and half hour journey to and from Nottingham this weekend, and my back was aching for the last 15 of each journey! It’s not financially the correct time to sourcing any, but something I will definitely look to invest in when I’ve done some saving! If added comfort comes with the...

Will there be any potholes on track? I take great enjoyment trying to avoid them all!

I have to admit they do look very nice! I’ll have to mull over this decision for a while I think!

Haha tracking it is a very long shot, and one which I’m not sure if I’ll have the heart for! It’s certainly not prepared to be pushed to the limits around one! I’m looking to hopefully keep the car long term, which if anything happened to it on track, or a stone chip here and would really annoy...

Good summary on the Recaro’s Ben, ideally I’d want to to keep the standard seats (meaning bigger £££) but if I plan on keeping it in the long run then the I’ll keep the original parts as well! You’ll soon know if the other flexi goes, I certainly did! But not the end of the world if they do...

    Hybrid Megane trophy

I’m coming down to Ely when a passenger rides available! Pleased your efforts on this have paid off, big commitment for all the miles and obviously expenditure, makes it worth it when it comes together and you hear/see the benefits!

    Clio 220 Trophy

I can relate to this! Down to 3rd, up to 4th, back down to 3rd, COME ONNNN! Normally find this driving around town, I can rarely leave it in 3rd and the car be happy pottering around at 30mph haha Pleased you’re enjoying the new wheels though, I’m still yet to be in a 200T, the world of extra...

A novice day is what I’d probably go for to begin with, the only track knowledge I have is whizzing around in a go-kart, so braking points etc would be handy! It’s certainly something I’ve considered, so who’s to say I won’t be on a track in the future!

I’m fairly short, but as long as my feet reach the pedals that’s the main thing! I did look at doing a novice trackday at Snetterton, whereby everyone on track is a complete beginner just to find my feet! But I saw that they basically cone the racing line out etc it seems a bit OTT! I remember...

I’m guessing it takes a bit of time getting used to climbing out the car, as opposed to just slipping out! And I’d probably be OCD on making sure I’m not sliding against the bolsters because of the wear?

Even so I’d prefer to have a stiff back in Recaro’s ;) It’d be good to get some feedback on if there is a benefit in comfort/assisting aches and pains with Recaro’s over standard!

I’ve been toying with the idea of sourcing some Recaro’s (yellow dot), but then the finances of it bring me back down to earth! I like the standard seats, I think they ‘hold you in’ just right, it’s only on some longer journeys 2/3hrs+ I have to start fiddling with the lumbar support as my...

Needless to mention the moaning and questioning of “why are you parking so far away?” Because I don’t want someone running into it ideally! I love LY, It looks mega to me, but the paranoia of scratching/denting the bodywork makes it hard to live with almost! Saying that I’ve seen some examples...

Thanks Mes, certainly wasn’t not having the other half put me off! Will be living with the other half in the not too distant future and I’ll be certain to make sure it’ll still be sat on the drive shining away! @jamesgw200 @Beany more than happy to come for a watch/passenger ride at Snetty...

Thanks for all the great comments! Certainly about time I managed to organise a thread! I absolutely love this car though, despite the niggles and expenses here and there, and hopefully that’ll show through as the thread progresses!

So after 2 years of membership, I'm finally getting round to starting some form of progress thread (something I've been saying I'll do for about 1 year 11 months) I'll hope to not bore you too much with a life story, and try and overview the last few years of ownership in this post! I bought...

This is a must Ben, need to hear them nervous whimpers while you’re flat out round Spa!
