I thought that mate and when I fitted the old trays in place they were around 20-30mm higher but actually that was too high and made it difficult to heal and toe. Mounting on the box section is so much better for driving now.

No worries. The Clio false floor is a pain to work with unlike other cars I’ve fitted these to in the past. I made some alloy spacers to fit between the tray and the floor to support it. Without the supports they would simply flex or crack with stress. They were purchased from CM Composites...

It’s suggested that the rubber stays good around 4 years, obviously the conditions that the tyres are kept in with impact this. After this time the rubber starts to dry out, crack and perish.

How old are they?

That’s classic curb damage. Rubber looks a little older too which would explain the crack.

Rockingham is a terribly abrasive circuit. Nice to see someone provoking the car too.

How did I fit the pedal?

It’s a cosmos soft car cover. Supposed to be pretty decent and feels nice and soft.
