    Lewis's Clio 200 Cup

I think Rentec bit off more than they could chew with @Sean197 's Megane conversion. I was very happy with them for routine servicing & they also fitted my Quaife diff & Cobra exhaust for me.

    Advice and opinions before sale.

I recently sold my 200 (p/x actually) & decided it was probably best to remove the graphics so I did. I felt that anything that could be considered "Marmite" was best gone.

New to the French pocket rockets

Welcome along. You have chosen an ideal B road occasional track day toy! I've just had to sell mine for various reasons & I wish I hadn't had to. Enjoy her for now but in the future consider Powerflex engine mounts to help save the exhaust flexis on the manifold from failing. Cooksport lowering...

Hoping to get to Spa again but probably not until 2020. Hopefully it will tie in with a date that you are there.

Do I need to replace the dephaser with the cambelt?

I agree with @matt9566 & @Beany on this. I had everything done for peace of mind.

    H&R Spring alternatives

'fraid not, but by reputation H&R are a lot firmer.

    H&R Spring alternatives

I loved my Cooksport springs. 30mm drop all round & felt much like cup springs in general driving. When you pressed on, or were on track the car cornered much flatter. I'd do it again.

    Hybrid Megane trophy

Couldn't agree more James! This is a lovely car. I hope to catch up with you at a track day sometime even though I'm now a Team Clique associate member now I am an Audi driver! :screamcat: Still love my Renaultsports, just circumstances etc.

    John's GW 200

Glenda would've said it was too big. I did think about a 265/275, but not the latest one.

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

I'm not entirely surprised Shuv. I think it's been on the cards for a while. I hope he takes care of the car as well as you did.

    John's GW 200

Well the deal has been done. For some time Glenda (my wife) & I have been struggling to justify having 3 cars. We both agreed that we were keeping our E Class Cabriolet as it's just the perfect "holiday" car & we plan some more European tours. Glenda didn't really like the Clio. The Recaros she...

    Lewis's Clio 200 Cup

I do! I use the ratchet gun until the slightest resistance then finish the job with my torque wrench.

    Lewis's Clio 200 Cup

You have the same Ryobi as me then. Should be ample surely given that most folk tighten the wheel bolts to 130/140nm?

    Lewis's Clio 200 Cup

Strange, at the track days I've been to I've left my stuff in a pile in the paddock & never had any problems. People leave the space clear while I'm on track. My impact wrench doesn't cope with the wheel bolts first thing so I loosen them half a turn by hand and don't get problems thereafter.

    Problems after fitting Milltek

It'll be worth the drive to Leeds. I went there from Inverness for a remap & it's so much better to drive. Much smoother response & got rid of a flat spot I hadn't realised I had until it wasn't there any more!
