    Noodle i am North of the border, near Thurso, Glasgow?. You are almost a Southerner!. I do not tackle any track days, until at least mid April, because the weather is unpredictable up here. Unless someone lives on the Islands, i must be the most Northern member on here.

    My personal view....Running a lot more power, I would not bother fitting a diff to the Clio box. When and if you can, run the 225 box.(With diff) I recently changed to a short shift, made a huge difference. This can be done easily, when Battery box is removed.( IMPORTANT!>) Drill not the plastic...

    A few of us did those two back to back.From N/E Scotland to Oulton, is around 560 miles, so makes sense to do both when I am down. Spa, via the tunnel,1200 miles!, two track days back to back, then 1200 miles home!.

    Patience young man, think of next year,Oulton/Anglesey/Cadwell/Spa/and hopefully, track day at the ring.Perhaps we will meet at a track day next year. Imagine being in a Meglio, with an 80year old driving very badly?. That will be something for you to look forward to?!.

    Not easy to see in this picture, its buried under pipes and cables. Gear change is 200% better,, feels like a knife through liquid butter, so smooth. The main problem before, was the change from 4th to 5th, but its now transformed. Very please with the result.If you do this, make sure you drill...

    Just replaced front offside hub, a tie rod, and couple of joints, plus two new tyres, and general maintenance. No more track days this year. Next year Spa, Trackday at the Ring, plus the usual in the Uk.

    Sorry for very late reply,You need to read the other posts, lots of problems, but all now resolved. Recaros will be for sale, replaced with lighter seats in the next couple of weeks.

    RS 197 weight reduction

    Remove rear belts, cross beam that seats sat on as well, remove carpet, replace with one piece carpet. I have kept ac, but looking to get rid of Recaro, as they are very heavy.

    Recaro swap?

    Recaro are heavy as we all knows, ( Mine are in excellent condition, no tears etc.)and am still looking for lightweight buckets. Anyone got anything suitable to swap, p/x? These are far too heavy to post, so would need to meet/swap over. Tried to load pictures, but keeps coming up with, error...

    NS-2R vs R888R in the wet

    I aquaplaned on 888, on the gemmel straight at Spa, spun several times, missed the barriers. I also ran the 2Rs, and in the wet, would prefer the 2Rs.

    Rough clio with strange mot

    I paid too much for my Meglio, and spent as much again, getting it to where it is now. There is always something to take care of on these cars, but stick with it, the car will reward you on road, and track.

    Just done Oulton and Anglesey on consecutive days, with no problems whatsoever. Taken time and money to get it where it is today, but totally worth it. Shame it wasn't done properly in the first place!.

    , When I do SPA, I will be 80 years old!. I go with a group of guys, and they are all quicker than me in the dry, but in the wet, none of them get near me. I put this down to........I am going to die soon anyway!.
