I live in Finland, and i had spotless service history including body checks, and valid anti-corrosion warranty. Renault denied to pay fix, because they said that damage has been come from outside. That was end of my renault dealer services. I do maintenance myself now

+1 for full machine polish & ceramic coating. Wax would not last.

My radiator support bar was also rusty, little bit sandblasting,welding & painting and i think it will be fine for some years.. PS. Remember protect brand new part properly with some kind of waxoil or underseal.

@turkie172 Thank you very much for your information. I copy/pasted your instructions for my mechanic who will do welding. What i found out from pictures, lambda readings are incorrect if flexis are blowing.. Good reason to check / replace flexis for correct fuelling.

@zashark See my post from 19 march (top of this thread). You can remove that radiator support bar, and get it sandblasted and then paint it. It is not subframe, and this rusty part job is keep radiator in place. Btw. New part from renault is approx 200£, but remember do rust protection...

Yep, i agree flexis are not 5/5. I removed that mesh because it was almost ripped apart. Interesting, flexis are not blowing even are in that state. I dont know is that rattle sound from flexis or not. Is that Bosal suitable, there is part number somewhere..
