This is good advice, I've been after some gloss black covers for a while now and I check eBay for breaking Clios regularly, no luck so far though! :(

Yeah you can pop the cover off and get it sprayed black. You need to take the mirror out and then IIRC there are 3 clips holding the cover on from the inside. There's a guide on here somewhere I believe.

From what I'm aware it only affects cars registered after 1st April 2017, so we won't be affected, unless you get a brand new car of course.

Also if you said Cambelt has been done recently I imagine that eliminates the AUX belt as the suspect of the noise.

My initial thought is could possibly be the PCV valve, when it gets clogged up it can make a very odd whining noise but it usually goes away once the engine has warmed up. It's fairly easy to eliminate whether or not it's this, there's a guide on here if you're a member you can view it, here's...

Yeah my initial thought was as you say it might look weird with nothing else carbon fibre, but it looks great! Although I am tempted to get the inlet manifold badge to match :)

I used renotech very recently for a lot of work on my car, I even drove across from Manchester. Work I had done was new exhaust manifold fitted, new exhaust system fitted and Cambelt service. Price was exceptionally fair and service was really good. Please be aware though that they do not use...

Cambelt change you're talking anywhere between £400-600 depending where you go, and whether or not you decide to change the dephaser at the same time. You don't want to cheap out on the Cambelt though and I'd always go with a specialist, but this may be difficult depending on where you're based...

Hmm, undecided... looks a little odd. The rear diffuser would look good if it was flush with the bumper, sticking out so much it looks weird :tearsofjoy:

If you want noise get an induction kit, the KTEC one is relatively cheap and I've heard only good things about it from people on here.
