I agree with everyone saying put it in the car. I normally just put my bike in an old duvet cover. It stops the car getting scratched or dirty. A lot of the trails I go to have nice roads on the way there, I wouldn't want to drive them with my 24" bike hang off the roof or side!

I've averaged 26 mpg over the 1200 miles since I picked the car up. I haven't reset it yet. Its pretty decent considering the way I've been driving it. I find the ride a bit harsher than I was expecting. I thought it would be a little softer than my DC2 but it actually feels harder. I suppose...

I've been wondering what that is! At first I thought it was the rear seatbelts as I hadn't clipped them in. Its pretty annoying that a brand new car rattles like it does. Everything else about the car makes up for it though.
