Well compared to me driving my cup, you are already 25 kilos lighter, thats some good weight saving already :P

One other thing to consider is your own weight! :p Not suggesting you're overweight but for anyone thinking about weight saving on their car its a good place to start.

Best place to remove weight from is above the centre of gravity. Though not an easy task in the Clio! Also consider lighter wheels. Saving 1kg of rotational weight is supposed to be similar to removing 10kgs from the car.

Thanks. Yeah my friend came along a few mins behind in his work transit so I just stuck my gear in it, parked the clio and drove through it in the van. I'm glad he hadn't already been through!

Have you got locking wheel nuts? Have they been off the car before? I could only get one of mine off at the weekend. The locking nut pops out quite easily unless you can get a lot of force pushing into towards the wheel, but this is a recipe for disaster and I scratched one of my wheels. Had...

my 200 has developed this clicking clutch in the past week or so. Its really annoying! Has no one had this fixed by Renault? I could understand the line that they all do it if mine had done it from new but its just developed it.

Quite fancy one of these for casual couch browsing. Got a colleague in the states just now so might ask him to bring one back for me. He's there for 3 months though so gives me time to decide after playing with them in the apple store. Plus I should really sell my old car before I start buying...

Driving a friends 172 cup years ago brought my attention to the brand and I chose Racing Blue as its Renault's racing colour (sort of) after my last car was championship white (Honda's racing colour). Plus it was a no cost option :)

Haha, thats understandable if you are spending a grand on it :) I like how they look more understated than the chrome ones even though they are actually CF.

I'm 6'8" and have Recaros in my 200 and they are fine. There is plenty of room for me and I rarely get uncomfortable in the car. Ideally I'd like to sit lower though.
