    Loving the 220 !

To be fair the (Opel) Manta GTE/400 was one hell of a rally car in the hands of Jimmy McRae in Rothmans livery[emoji106]

    MattySa Clio 4 RS

Matty I fitted the KTec/Eibach springs on mine, handles that bit better now, corners a bit flatter. Looks so much better even from the Cup pack, which only lowers it 3mm I think!

    Windscreen Frozen INSIDE

It's -6 here this morning in Bristol! Have you tried the overnight spray on the outside, worked well when I used it. If you can stop the outside freezing then the inside won't.

    Loving the 220 !

I'm surprised you're comparing a 2015 VXR with what was a few years ago the recognised 'Best Hot Hatch' you could buy? I need to try a Corsa.

    Windscreen Frozen INSIDE

You'll be adding a load of moisture into the car if you're hot & sweaty from the gym. So it's probably that moisture that is freezing the inside of the screen.

    Windscreen Frozen INSIDE

Where is the car parked, is each one you've had and experienced this issue been parked in the same place? My point is it might be related to the environment it is parked in. All cars will have a moisture content in the interior.

    Loving the 220 !

You're doing the same thing as the mags have done. Comparing a car that was designed over 10 years ago with one that is about 3 years old. Whilst they are both labelled hot hatches, they are poles apart in reality, just like an ST or 208 Gti is. I loved my old 200, was rawish (not like my Elise)...

Happy new year to me !

If you like pops & bangs have the centre silencer removed, it makes it sound infinitely better. My R Link is okay, but then I've not tried to update it, that seems to be a cluster feck! I agree, 3 or 4 presses of the screen to get to Bluetooth is crap.

    Clio 200T edc

Footrest is attached with heavy duty Velcro to the carpet. It came with a backing plate to screw through the carpet, but it was impossible to fit! I'd just go for the OEM Renault one if I was doing it again, £20 odd quid.

I'm in the same boat. I guess some of the potential issues of an early adopter. I don't feel that it needs extra power on the road, track maybe. The warranty thing is my main concern atm.

    Centre Silencer Delete

Chris, tried a sound recording app on my phone, it's not the best quality but gives a faint sense of the noise, I'll try and edit it and post soon. Unless you want to buy me a Go Pro?!

LOL, I think it would be too bright for that!

I would save for the remap before spending it on an exhaust. Silencer chop for the sound is enough for me. As usual it's all about the money!

    MK4 interior light cover

Thanks for the tips, got there on the third attempt! Much easier when explained. Took some photos to assist anyone else wanting to change/upgrade to LEDs. Pull down back of the panel away from roof lining ..... You can bend the panel in the middle (bow it) to help clear the wiring from the...

Lol, still unsure! Are you talking about the whole panel that is attached to the roof and includes the airbag lights?

Filofaith, thanks for that. When you say grab the front, do you mean the side nearest the windscreen or the rear of the car? Did you use any tools to help remove it? Cheers .... Simon.

    Clio 200T edc

Bit louder, but not intrusive. What it gives you is lots of pops and bangs on gear changes up and down the box. Sounds better than my KTec cat back on my old 200.
