Yes the Akra is pretty much best of both worlds. I don't really use the Clio on the motorway but it was still reasonably quiet at a cruise :)

So my thoughts on the brakes. You need to remember all the work was done at the same time - calipers, discs, pads, fluid, lines - so I'm not able to attribute anything to a particular component.
