Ok so found one on eBay but doesn't look too hot. Can't find a good one anywhere. Am I right in thinking not good idea to fit lighter solid pulley as losing the harmonic balancer is a bad idea ?

I've found a pulley on eBay and gates do a belt. I assume I can use the original alloy mounting plate and just remove pump and pipes etc

how many ways to delete air con? Don't see why I can't fit a shorter belt? Tensioner still pushes down on back of belt.

Ah OK misread your post.if it's not turning over it's not crank sensor. You need to check starter voltage then. I assume recovery checked battery posts

You mean charging 15 v not battery holding 15 v? Sounds like you got more than one issue. Crank sensor is on top I think. I've never looked but will later. It's on bottom on my Meg engine but thought Clio on top
