Flacsi's Racing Red 197

The Advan A048 are excellent (A050 are even better if you can get them), & definitely much better than the R888. Nitto NT01 are excellent too. No experience with the others you mentioned.

Bored of the 197 ( But will probably keep it. Because they are awesome )

No offence meant but I don't see the point in coming on here & whining about not liking your choice of car... telling other owners about it isn't going to change things, if you not happy with it buy something else & move on, its as easy as that. For the record over the past 30 years ive...

    Hi from Oz

Booked car into AGI to be measured up for the required 'national spec' cage. This is for a different model car but basically the same design & spec. Door intrusion bars & front half of cage can be removed for road use when required. [/IMG]

    Hi from Oz

Nothing to do with driving style imo. My car although being tracked regularly is undoubtedly maintained better & driven with more mechanical sympathy than 99% of the daily drivers out there, sometimes parts just fail. IMO its simply a case of poor oem supplier quality control as with oem top...

    Hi from Oz

Had the belts, plugs, pulleys done today (thanks Julian). Interestingly the oem crank pulley was starting to separate at the elastomer so it was lucky that I had Raptors lightened version to replace it with. My thoughts re the pulley are that it is no replacement for the Sprintbooster as it...

How hard is it to tackle a set of springs on 200 please

Rears are a simple job, front require spring compressor etc so not something you can readily do at home.

    check injection/check esp messages

My Sprintbooster has caused this to happen so often that I have had to remove it altogether (the circuit board has come loose in the plastic housing). If you don't have a Sprintbooster look for loose connections on the various engine sensors.

    Flacsi's Racing Red 197

Yes a set of the 17" Speedlines or the 18" A&D or Megane II wheels would solve the problem due to the offset. Although its only a quick/cheap fix a set of spacers will do the same job in the mean time enabling you to drive the car at least. Yours is not the first Clio 197/200 I have seen with...

    Flacsi's Racing Red 197

Only quick fix I can think of is fitting a set of wheel spacers (which I don't like using but may be necessary). Other than that you would have to reduce the amount of camber your running which would be a shame.
