    Brighter standard headlights?

thing is you may not need to go higher power just better brand, take a look at Osram night breakers had them fitted to a few cars same power output as oem but quality of light so much better. Also phillips do some good bulbs they mess around with using different gas mixture to produce a cleaner...

Will 5dr spoil the appeal ?

This year is the end of high power NA cars all manufacturers are going with smaller 1.4/1.6 litre with high pressure turbos, although ford will be dropping ST's 2.5l to 2.0l and managed to get good emissions so perhaps Renault can do the same with what I read was going with a Merc. 1.8 lump for...

    Brighter standard headlights?

According to manual you need to watch fitting more powerful bulbs as it mentions they can deform/melt the lens. Also you need to stay clear of the really high wattage bulbs as they will cause a problem for the electrics producing faults and worse case starting fire

    Alfa Romeo Mito Quadrifoglio Verde

yeah, they mentioned it was blue & me in the alfa forum I saw this problem get mentioned, so perhaps they didn't know about adaptor or wasn't out, but good to know alternate method of attaching

    roof wrap

The wrap wouldn't hide the ripples as it follow contour of roof including the ripples when they squeegee it on removing air bubbles, and if they didn't flatten wrap over ripple you'd get air pockets and then on hot days that air will expand causing bubbles But as to doing spoiler would be good...

    This guy built a cardboard...

I wasn't expecting it to look how it did but more like paper folded whereas this guy takes paper modelling to a new level and the attention to detail with it, WOW

    strange dents/ripples

I would leave headlining removal to dealers as real pig job to do

    strange dents/ripples

Think it's gonna be a case of removing head lining to take a look, as beam is bonded to roof then possible if it's moving then the roof could ripple. Also where it is bonded if say it was only bonded in places and roof at extreme temps. hot /cold could expand/shrink then where it is bonded it...

    Alfa Romeo Mito Quadrifoglio Verde

exterior is an acquired taste, but I like it's just headlight pods which I think could be a better design. Interior is very classy for a small car, although downside appears to be the stereo in that its a windows O/S one and so if you got iPod/iphone it has to be reformatted to windows which...

    Who wants £500 a week??

My sister has to call centre in Glasgow to book a cab as she gets a taxi card to help with travel and you have to call them, then they either get black cab or mini cab who belongs to the service to come and pick you up. Even that which sounds simple is full of issues as you then get drivers...

    Alfa Romeo Mito Quadrifoglio Verde

Don't know if anyone else has seen this but personally having a soft spot for Alfa's came across on it during some surfing and amazed at it having a little 1.4l turbo which produces 170BHP, styling wise I like although the front prob. isn;t to ever ones taste but none the less it stands out...

    Steering wheel adjustment

the handle is connected to the locking mechanism by a small bolt, prob. find that has come loose and then allowed the handle to come out of it's seat if handle does;t wobble around then it'll be the mechanism. I had to tighten mine up as noticed it was loose when changing steering wheels over...

    Who wants £500 a week??

Roy, just don't give up as it is such a trying process, also make lots of duplicates of anything you send/give to them as lost count of the times my sister has said to me after chasing up with them on matters to get told they don't have something as it's gone missing. Also when dealing with...

    Who wants £500 a week??

I've been out of work now 2 years although 1st was just to relax after having worked the last 8 years of 22 being pure hell in the IT game. But since being out of work I've not claimed any benifits and decided to get enrolled in a course to retrain in a new job and apart from taking an interest...

    The economy

Both those countries would snap up skilled workers and always have done, got family members who went out for 10 years to live/work in Australia and that was now 22 years ago as never came back. Europe & middle east used to be good places to go and work as I've worked in both those regions but...

    The economy

There's another option vote UKIP, been looking at them for a while now as I voted last time for the tories to get rid of labour and the tories (with the help of libdems) gone back on pretty much everything as well totally screwing over britain unless of course your a banker or member of the...

    strange dents/ripples

here's a picture showing beam & upper frame and that along that beam they do use a bonding cement to hold roof to it

    strange dents/ripples

There's a beam that runs across from to door pillar to door pillar for strengthening so wouldn't of thought roof skin be under any load or stresses in that area unless welds on that beam have weakened, but to check that you'd need to remove headlining. which way do the ripples run front 2...

    Plates

Retro style looks good, I replaced mine a while back but went with 3D text and lost the Euro badge in preparation for that failure. The company did pressed plates but at time didn't think about getting them now wished I had as not only looking good you won't get the reflective material...
