When you say in are they in and wired up but not working? It might be that the gain is turned up for front speakers.

Unacceptable, get back onto RUK and use someone els's example to push it through. Warranty is warranty regardless of where the car came from.

Get a roadhawk fitted. I caught Renault Birmingham playing silly buggers in my 197 two weeks ago. Renault UK were mortified and can't do enough for me now. Literally just got back from having a new steering wheel fitted. Doing you a favour? 20 miles to test the aircon seems a bit much.

I'd be wary of controlling the i-pod without the steering wheel controls, sooner or later there will be a law against it (if there isn't already). Thinking about it, I am limited to 5 playlists but they are so long it's not an issue. For £42 the connects2 is a good solution.

I don't think you can change a thing on the i-pod via the aux cable.

Not sure this is true, mine (connects2) works fine with standard i-pod folder structure???
