Did a few bits to the Clio over the weekend. We had a couple of friends down at the shed giving us a hand as the other Clio there was also getting a few bits done. I needed to install some eyebolts for the 6 point harnesses, why you'd not do this along with the rest of them in the first place...

Anytime I've taken them off I've set them to 170, it's extremely tight for sure! They are also an absolute pain in the ass to get out sometimes

If you have a helicoil kit that also solves the problem and is relatively easy do, done mine a few years ago and haven't had issues since!

Yeah I guess it can be hard to pin down! The trackdays ye do usually have a good elevation changes so maybe that could be a factor too? Anyways it's something we'll all be adding to our checklists every other trackday then!

What do ye use on them now? My friend ran ar1 but they were dead and delaminated after 2 trackdays, a fair bit quicker but not worth it to me. I get about 6 days out of the r888r, but they lose best grip after 3-4 days the last two are more just for fun.

I still have that issue to this day, after about 20 minutes it comes up and says battery fault, it happened ever since I changed the alternator. It's purely a track car so it doesn't bother me enough to fix it Hopefully that solves it for ye though!
