Save the money your spending on the diamond brite and get a detailer to prep it for you. Diamond brite aint a rubbish product, its ok. But dealerships dont do it properly, as russ said they just apply a sealent without any prep which can actually create swirl marks in new factory fresh paint...

Im currently getting 29.4-29.6 when driving hard. I only get 29.9-30.0mpg when driving economically. Last month I drove from Runcorn to sutton in surrey, never went above 70mph and never went over 4k rpm to save on fuel a bit and I only got 30.0mpg :( So I floored it on the way home ;)

As above I also use Meguiers Gold class shampoo. Autosmart Tardis is a great product for sticky tar and gum remover. I really reccommend Bilberry acid free wheel cleaner, its brilliant. You can mix different dilutions for the condition of the alloy so it lasts for ages. Get some poor boys...

I have just used megs last touch detailer, brings all the marks off for a few weeks. Would be good to have something longer lasting tho

mine says 29.1 atm which aint that bad considering the way its driven lol. but I don't know how accurate that is tbh it seems to use loads of fuel :(

I actually looked at one of these before I bought the clio. When i say 'looked' it was a very brief look as it ugly as... But very good cars these, considering it has 130bhp they are very fast, the seat ibiza FR TDi is the same (had one as a company car few years ago). feels more like 170bhp...

Sometimes when I unlock my car and get in, it gives several beeps (usually around 3 bleeps). What does this mean? only does it about once a week

Nice cars those leon FR's to be fair mate. Very different in terms of performance to the clio, you wont have to drive it like you stole it to get some power :). Im sure you will love the car when you pick it up
