More 3D printed goodness from @RSRowe After the coolant reservoir relocation I didn’t like the way the coolant hoses were zip tied together. I had visions of excessive movement, chafing, and potential split hoses over time. Two piece hose clamps, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Part number 77 11 160 160 (number 8 on diagram below) Seems to be the same number as used elsewhere in the Renault range: https://www.renaultgenuineparts.com/renault-7711160160-cable-accel/

    Crank sensor part number check.

There are apparently two types of sensor, one is magnetic and the other is induction. This thread might help: https://clio197.net/threads/crankshaft-sensor-install-on-clio-3-rs200.65573/#post-743719

    Big Bens non Clio

Looks nice, better keep those hands clean or it'll flatten that alcantara in no time! I love the look of alcantara wheels but tough to keep clean and looking fresh on a daily driver.

I do enjoy it, it’s just having the confidence and time to see a job though that holds me back. Very satisfying to DIY though, especially when it goes to plan!

Took it out today to check ABS, slammed on as hard as I dare from 60mph (cough) and it braked straight and true with ABS acting normal, no lockups or smoke. Happy days.

    Clio rs200 airbag light

So it looks like the resistor was there to try and mask that issue. I’d be investigating what is causing the issue of the airbag light staying on. Can you confirm you are running the original steering wheel and airbag?

Last job was to replace the ABS module to try and solve the rear left locking under braking issue. I thought about getting a second hand unit from a breakers, but managed to find a new OEM module for a decent price: This is a pretty easy job with the airbox out, take off the 11mm brake pipe...

Battery and coolant reservoir location was done to install the carbon R3 airbox. Had a bit of a battle finding a silicone joiner to fit. Not sure if this is a manufacturing issue but the carbon inlet pipe is slightly oval, measuring 67mm at the widest point and 63mm at the narrowest: Bit...

Out came all the existing stuff, lead battery, battery tray, OEM airbox. I made a little offset bracket on top of the gearbox mount area to mount the new distribution box: Cut off the old connectors and carefully labelled them prior to crimping and install: Drilled a 20mm hole through the...

Battery relocation, R3 Airbox, ABS module replacement After gathering bits for a few moths, time to make a start. I acquired a Deadweight Industries Touge 200 LiFePO4 back in April for a decent price, it's incredibly light at 2.0kg: I gave this to @RSRowe at Cadwell and he went to work on...

That my friend is what’s known as someone else’s bodge. Someone has installed a resistor (badly) to either try and mask a fault or perhaps previously run a steering wheel without an airbag. Ideally needs removing and tidying up, then you’ll know whether there is a fault elsewhere.

    The, “what is this?” thread

The gear selector cable plastic housing clips into this metal casting on the gearbox. If you ever have trouble getting into some gears or you lose a couple of gears this is often the culprit as it can pop out

That is a gear selector cable on top of the gearbox. I suspect the zip ties are not OEM
