    Crazy money either way and in some way makes me question the figures around of some NA cars. it's common sense that if 10k gets you a true 30bhp, why do people think they can make 20bhp with 2k? For me the best Clio I've ever driven was a standard one. Maybe not super fast but honest and engaging.

    If I'm not mistaken, this was one of the first conversions done. Few bits are done differently now like as you said the location of air filter and water bottle. Great car none the less as this is where it started.....

    Only blessing is happened as I was just going to set off from petrol station. Could have been a disaster if happened 10 mins earlier. any idea if the servo is a standard unit out of all Clio 3's?

    Most interesting project for some time on here. I echoe your view though that it's difficult to replace these cars once some of their failings are addressed, which for me was more torque.

    Expensive 4 weeks but it's nearly all done. Hybrid DMF and Clutch both Driveshafts Belts done Bonnets with vents painted Dimming Rear view mirror finally wired in just leaving me needing a full set of tyres, front brake pads, stainless brake lines....then more power. Also thinking about VVT...
