    His part cost £170, ie ball joint with hub, direct from Renault, i'm assuming ! Also Rofag on Ebay sell the ball joints on there own.

    Unless your 197 is newer than mine 2009 reg march. 72k is max mileage, or 5/6 years old, whichever is the soonest.

    Check your oil level, when cold, on level ground.

    This is the hub with ball joint in as new. Yes is the same for a cup model. You need to get your car up on a mot ramp, to check all the suspension parts.

    Before you spend any more, also get your front springs checked.
