I thought that with track use a gearbox would last around five years or so. Clearly we abuse our gearbox too much and it will require more regular attention. I am considering whether an auto blipper might help prolong the life of the gearbox as I am useless at heel and toe.

I had a look at some of the Snetterton videos today and noticed that the oil pressure in the Clio was just under 3 bar when it was cold - and the oil was more viscous.
