Really you should try a number of different products - there's not one that "does it all". Bilberry is great at removing grime, then IronX for all of the brake dust, I'd also recommend a tar remover too, mine were covered.

Yes, but only to someone's mum. My mum thought her Ford Ka was fast. There's a difference between being fast and seeming fast. I drove a M5 a few weeks ago and on the same roads the Clio feels faster, but it isn't.

Been detailing another R27 this week, this time it's Bertie's. He's just bought Lee's 200 and will be selling this R27 in the coming days. As you can see the paintwork wasn't in the best of states, but has been considerably revived in a short space of time today. Before 50/50 50/50...

I'll get the vid off Bertie, one of them will have been pretty good. I'm thinking Spa next month, then Silverstone after that... ;)

Definitely agree about having the products to hand! You'll be amazed how much comes off by claying if you get a reaction using IronX and Tardis. Best thing to do is see how you get on and make a decision at the time.

Without knowing how 'bad' the car is, I'd recommend claying it too.

I'd definitely recommend it Stevoox, are you planning on machine polishing the car afterwards or are you just wanting to get rid of contaminants? Yeah pretty much clean as normal, rinse, apply them both separately (rinsing in between), then clean it back off again, probably best to use shampoo...

Pisses me off massively. Luckily the full beam in the Clio is brilliant, so I can illuminate the road for them........
