Many options 197 standard 197 cup 200 standard 200 cup 200 extreme cup all the same dimensions and will fit on all cars. Only the top mount changed. I put 200 extreme cup dampers + eibach springs on my 197 last year.

They have to be ordered direct from the Renault factory. They're coded with the cars information then added to the ecu by the dealer. I was quoted £120. there are aftermarket keys, but they're suspicially cheap.

I wouldn't drive it! You'll likely damage other things. The exhaust doesn't like movement, the box is possibly sat on the ARB and steering rack.

With eibach springs. I'm very happy, I went from cup dampers and springs. They're a lot stiffer, a little bouncy at the back at normal speeds. But driven fast they're great

I have 200 extreme cup dampers on my 197. just made sure they were the earlier style when ordering from Renault

I had a knock. Turned out to be the top mount failed and this allowed the damper to move thus causing the knock

Just that they're next to impossible to do without dropping the subframe.
