    many many years ago I bought a BM 330ci for 15k cause I couldn't afford an M3. Over the following 4 years Brembo worth 5k, collies for 2k and a supercharger for 6k from states plus lots more, I could have bought the M3 and change. Add up how much you've spent Mr Y and I bet you've got the same...

    because you'll keep chasing for power and when you've added up what you've spent, won't be far off Meg money. Seen it so many times. Not saying Meg should be everyone's answer but it's a cul-de-sac with that NA engine.

    Hi Shakey, what do you mean low setting on Fan. Do you mean it should be constantly on but on a low setting? Also side issue but how's the S1?

    Mr Y unfortunately not. It's something that's haunting these conversions and there's a few that suffer from the same issue. I'm seeing 10 - 15 degs more than the Meg boys especially if your running high boost. I recon it's airflow, water flow or equally both.

    easily done my friend. When that happens it's time to move on. The more driver focused it becomes, the less of a daily it becomes too. Thats the downside of growing up your start to be sensible about things that previously, didn't matter. Said it before but this is the last year of my Clio...

    Be careful Mr Y, it's a slippery road. You'll have more reason to drive the shed than the superb Clio. Winter it will be even worse. Drive the car mate, it's not a vintage Bentley.....

    Def needs boost per gear. Turbo is T19. More boost, more problems. Everything needs upgrades including clutch. Going with a R26R clutch.

    Delivery is crazy. Bloody cars rattling struggling with all that torque and stereos already nearly landed on my lap. All this without it even being mapped yet. Mr Y, not sure yet? Don't want too extreme for road use. Just need to do some stuff now to pull it all together.

    Nope not RST. Hybrid fitted, the cars an absolute animal. T19 now revs harder and higher up the Rev range. This thing will make 330bhp easy with a map. Quite a few things to add. Bigger Rad from Meg, oil cooler, braided lines, uprated pads, paint and fit new bonnet. Oh, and SMF and r26r clutch...

    197 is not a fast car, it's a car that carries spend into bends well. The gearbox gives the illusion that your travelling quickly but your really not. That engine is the worst I've had 30 years and without the absolute epic chassis and superb brakes of the Clio, would be very ordinary car.

    No easy replacement tbh. 250's are coming down in price, I recon below 8 grand in a year or so.....

    biggest fee is the initial map. You pay for Roller time thereafter.....have you got a spare forge actuator?
